Decorations
Send out your invitations that look like Movie Tickets, you can 'rip the ticket' when the enter and tell your guests to 'keep the stub'! Place a 'Director's Chair' and megaphone for the guest of honour. Hang a giant "Hollywood" sign on the wall. (you can use bristol board to cut out the letters and tape them on). Make Stars with cardboard and write famous actor & actress names on them. Have a Red Carpet in the entranceway for the guest to enter. Have some people pose as 'paparozzi' with cameras flashing!
Costumes/Dress Attire
Dress as your favourite actor or actress, or come as your favourite movie or TV character. You could have a sub-theme for your party like "favourite sci-fi characters", or "Silver Screen Actors/Actresses".
Games & Activities
Make 'awards' for best dressed, best actor & actress and have acceptance speeches. Have your own 'Walk of Fame' and have your guests sign their own star!
